A Greyhounds Wish works with YOU to place the best hound in
your home.
We at A Greyhound's Wish want you to be certain that a Greyhound
is the right pet for you. We strongly recommend reading Living with a Greyhound By Cynthia Branigan. It is a book
that covers just about every situation that a person adopting a
greyhound is likely to encounter.
Once you have decided to adopt a Greyhound from A Greyhound's Wish,
you will need to complete a placement
application. (Adobe Acrobat Reader Required. Don't have it?
Download
it here.) After we receive your application, we will call
you to review any questions you might have. By going over your application
with you, we can match the perfect greyhound for your home. After
you take your new pet home, we continue to provide support in the
form of follow up phone calls and visits, if needed. We want to
make sure you and your new Greyhound are happy.
If you have any questions about adopting that are not answered,
please feel free to e-mail
us.
