About A Greyhound's Wish, Inc.

A Greyhound's Wish was started when a fellow group of volunteers from existing greyhound placement groups recognized the need for an additional greyhound placement group in Anne Arundel County MD. A Greyhound's Wish, Inc. officially became a non-profit 501 (3)(c) organization in January of 2000, and the rest (as they say) is history.

We are a small placement group located in Hanover, MD. we are in our 6th year and have placed over 150 greyhounds.

Our objective shall include finding responsible loving homes for retired racing Greyhounds as well as educating the general public about retired racing Greyhounds, their quality as pets and providing instruction and guidance for their care.

Our commitment to you does not end when you take your new greyhound home. We are always available to answer your questions or offer any advice we can give. In short, we want to ensure that the home you give your greyhound, is a home for life.
